Jesus, Astrology, & The Sexist Burden Of Proof

Here's an interesting observation: the burden of proof in spiritual and religious debates shifts depending on which sex dominates the belief structure.

Example A:
More women than men believe in astrology (and related systems), and the roots of such systems go back to ancient "wise women", witches, and assorted feminine mystics. This includes horoscopes, power crystals, spirit guides, energy healing, tarot cards, divining, planetary influence, and the like. When pressed by skeptics, the burden of proof is on the believer of such things to show how "true" their belief are.

Example B:
Islam, Judaism, & Christianity have primarily male-dominated orthodoxies. Invented by men, administered by men, defended by men. When pressed by skeptics, the burden of proof is on the skeptics to disprove the belief system.

Why does the burden of proof for female oriented belief systems lie with the believer, while the burden of proof for male dominated belief systems lie with the skeptic?

Talk amongst yourselves.
